The Digital Chair Jean-Jacques Laffont was launched in February 2015 with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, as well as seven other public and private sector partners. It aims to promote research on the impact of digital technology - in areas such as industrial organization, competition policy, education, finance, culture or health.
A colloquium took place on 26th June in Paris. This was a great opportunity to bring together academics, policy makers and private partners and to discuss the challenges and possibilies of new digital technology in cultural, economic and social areas.
