The IAST (Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse), multidisciplinary research center in social sciences, aims to facilitate and encourage cross-disciplinarity to break down artificial disciplinary boundaries. Economics, sociology, biology, law, political science, psychology, anthropology, ecology: each of these disciplines, all studied at the IAST, contain solutions to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.
The IAST, selected in 2011 as a LaBex “Laboratory of Excellence”, welcomes researchers from UT1, CNRS, INRA and is under the aegis of the Fondation Jean-Jacques Laffont – TSE
