Résumé

Associated to the diverse and diverging possibilities to respond to present environmental problems, narratives - in particular scenarios - provide scientific approaches to evaluate these possibilities. Narratives relate inclusively entities and processes, facts, through inter-disciplinary models, integrating uncertainties, contradictions and complexities. Recently, shared socio-economic pathways (SSP) have brought interesting perspectives to integrate ecological and social complexities. They relate to previous scenarios, provided by the ‘Great Transition Initiative’, MEA, IPCC, IPBES. An issue being how stakeholders, their world-views, relate with these different scenarios.
